New Alternator - now instrument lights wont work

the turn signal light might have bleed over from the dash lights.

 

You mean on the circuit sheet on the back?

 

Light coming from the new dash light bulbs.Does it dim with the dash lights?

 

Yes. It dims. When I turn the dim the dash all the way down to the point where they're not on, the gauges start working again.

 

Sounds like a bad ground somewhere.
