I used those for the first time to make replacement lines for the rear of my sisters' Subaru. MUCH easier to work with! Easy to bend and flare.
I'm still using the cheapo- flare kit I bought 30 years ago, usually have to clamp it in a vise to hold the steel line in place. It worked great on the Cu-Ni lines tho.
Pat, it looks like you're using the coated lines.... how do you like those?

    Conclusion to the story:
Started this project about 10am and finished about 10pm with all the running around and test fitting.
Finally feeling good as I cleaned up and walked in the house and had to listen to the better half.

    Wife: "SO........is it fixed."
    Me: "YUP" !
Wife: "You wasted a whole day fooling with that thing."
Me:"Sooooooooooooooooooo, it had to get fixed".
Wife: "You never listen to me".
    Me: "Whaaaaaat?'
Wife:"If you sent it out like I told you we could have been doing something important like X-Mas shopping".
Me: "This is what us car guys do, fix our s#!t when it breaks".
Wife:"You're a cheapskate and didn't want to send it out to be fixed".

At this point I wanted to scream "BEAM ME UP SCOTTY" as I had run out of patients about 6hrs ago.
COMMENTS FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY WERE NOT APPRECIATED. I kept my mouth shut or it would be NO Turkey for me on Turkey day.

Anyway, It's fixed and I shall enjoy my next ride without dragging my feet on the ground to stop Biggest Red.
