Tom, I have a complete set of (4) door panels and a very nice rear seat from a 64 custom deluxe sedan. You can have them if you want. They are all usable as is and are a kind of tan with a fabric inlay. Very ugly in a good kinda way. They are not torn and if I remember they have no water damage. I probably still have the arm rest bases and color keyed inside door handles and gas pedal as well. My plan was to hold on to them until I found a car like the one you have now and to build a hot street car. You would only need to have your front and this rear seat tastefully done to match the door panels. Of course you could just dip them in black. If your not in a big hurry, maybe we could arrange transportation from someone who travels to and from TN an MI...like John Chamberland maybe. Just a thought! Let me know if you can use any of this stuff. Nothing is simple is it?
Wow, thanks Glen Actually, I have a friend that does transportation( like Rick Henderson) who is alway's passing through TN. If you could email me your address, I can make arrangement's to have Jerry pick the interior stuff up. Thanks again Glen, I owe you one. :beer I'll send you a PM also just in case you miss this post :TU: Here's my email stg1miller@aol.com
the special door panels look like the picture below. notice how the door panel stops at the chrome strip. on a skylark the door panel continues all the way up and over to the glass. not sure if the 64 panels Glen has will work but if he can post a pic i can tell you right away
The 65 skylark and special post cars have the same door panels. Here's a picture of my 65 post gran sport. Harle
They should be the same as the doors are the same on all 64/65 post cars. Mine don't go over the top and are held in buy the chrome strip referenced. I'll try to snap and post a picture though...So youse guys can see how "interesting" they are. Very "grandma-ish". For sure, the price is right! :TU: Hopefully Tom will be able to use them.
