Mystery GSX ?

    The "Mystery" car in question also did not have the 70 Oldsmobile style "Pointy" Sport Mirrors on it, like talked about in the other post............and to take it one step further someone would have had to create some type of unique mirror base gasket to angle the Olds mirrors correctly or they would have looked absolutely stupid on the car.

    It also was not a stick shift car.

    My gut feeling is we are talking about two different vehicles here.

    PS. Here is something else to think about. There are at least two (that I know of) 1970 Yellow GSXs out there that were totaled and the bodies were used to put other cars together.

    I know that one body was bought out of a junk yard and was used to rebuild a 72 GS. It is still wearing the 70 "QQ" Data tag but has a 72 Vin number. The
    only thing you can say about this one is it has a 70 GSX shell, but it sure isn't a 70 GSX with a 72 vin. The other one I don't have a lot of information about. The discussions I had about that one were rather vague.
