    ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
She fired up immediatly today.:beers2: Man do I still have goose bumps!!
I have attached a couple videos so tun up your volume.

The first video you will hear a tap. We thinks its the header leaking or the front of the manifold cause I removed the front manifold bolt to attach the backet to hold the throttle spring and never torque wrenched it back down. Its coming fron the driver front side of motor for sure. I will let her colld down a check.

    1. Scotty, Thanks for the comments. I am running TA 1 7/8 full chrome headers through 2.5 inch custom bent exhaust through Renegade Mufflers. They are fully welded low resriction mufflers that are made by the same company that makes Flowmasters just can get em a little cheaper. This is the same system i had hooked up to my 400 BBB that was still in real good shape so I sayed with it for now.

    2. Alan, Thanks for the comment. I'd love to come but we are having my new baby daughters Christening party at the house this weekend. Isn't there old time drags coming up at Englishtown in Nov? I may shoot for that.

    3. 69skyInNJ, Wow another local, we should all meet up some time. I need witnesses when I beat my brother in his 69 GTO:laugh:

...we'll all be going to Atco in about a month - great way to end the year with a timeslip on a newly installed bullet

As for your brother, if you can get it to hook, all he's going to see is taillights and bumper !!

    Alan,
Atco...thats great. let me know when if you don't mind. pretty close for me only about a 30 min drive. I should be scoring some new rubber for the car in the next couple days in preperation. yes and as far as the bumper view goes I"ll make sure I use my new can of never-dull on it so he gets a nice look.
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Alan,
Thanks for the double info, I will be there on 11/18. What about a 255x60x15? I am trying to have a little more "stock, stealth" look to the car. Will they hook ya think?

    Mike,
I noticed they make the MT's in that size. It was pretty tempting for me since I have that size all around my car. I bet they would hook. The 275/50-15 is the ultimate, they have a 10" tread width where the 255's have an 8.8" tread width.

I like the look of the 275 size in the back - it slightly offsets the width front to back and its what I run on my street tires as well, but the street tire is a 60 series to give me more diameter and kill the gear for the highway

... its personal choice though :Do No:
