455 bored 30 over with 11:1 forged pistons, Stage 3 tall port heads with TA SP1 intake. 308 Solid cam and TA 1.65 roller rockers. 1050 dominator and MSD 6al ignition. Nothing fancy in the bottom end. Still stock rods and rod bolts. Stock water pump with working power steering. Maybe manual steering someday, I have the box but kinda like being able to drive it like a Buick in tight spots.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

I love the look with the hubcaps! Looking forward to hearing how it ran at the track. Looks like you've got some good tires on the rear :)

Maybe it's just me but looking over and seeing Stage 1 is sorta telling the world it is not a sleeper:Brow: Kinda like 427 on a 67 vette If you want it to look slower mabe badge it as a Cheveele!!!

If it pulled up next to me, I am not sure "sleeper" would be my first thought. It does have a great "street killer" look.

There's no way you're ever gonna make that beauty look slower. That is one great looking Buick! :TU:

Any pictures of the brackets you made to mount the caps to the rear wheels? Im leaning toward doing this also.

I add a little 110 with pump gas about 1/2 and 1/2 mix. Seems to run fine with that.

    thanks

    Thanks, I appreciate it.
I will try to post some.

I've looked at this car every time I log in. I absolutely love it. Nothing like dog dishes and steelies! I'm going to do the same with my car as soon as I can find 15 x 7 rims and can afford a new set of tires.

Would love to see the brackets also and how you mounted.. Been kicking around the idea of 17" steelies..

Here's my brackets I made. Very simple but I had to drill into the rim to hold the brackets in place.
My first attempt was to just add velcro which you can kinda still see on the rim. That sorta worked but one day a cap just fell off while sitting in the garage one day. The brackets work very good.
    Good luck.
