I've posted a few pictures already, but Now it is finally done. It took about 6 months of steady weekend work, Pictures don't really show how rough it was before but my lovely fiancee said I couldn't go to my own wedding in it, so we had to take care of that. Before: You can' tell but the top was getting ready to go, there were a LOT of big scratches, dings, dents a patched back bumper, the body work was starting to bubble and the paint was peeling off of the trunk lid After: Paint code is WA7782 85-87 GM Gunmetal Grey Metallic, with a black top.
'71 Riviera Resto Gotta love the colour choice Trevor, but hey - I'm partial to Grey ! . . . can you make the pics a little bigger ? L@@king good ! :beer :beer :TU:
Looks greyt Trevor ! :TU: ( I know... terrible pun! ) ou: p Did you do the vinyl top yourself? I've always been curious how hard of a project that would be.
Actually I did very little of the work myself. Paint and Body is not my strong suit. I took the top to a custom shop in Hamilton Ontario. For 300 dollars, I figured I'd let them do it.
You really have something to be proud of there, Trevor! '71 Rivs are one of my favorites and yours sure looks great in her new grey paint!
rear rechrome Trevor - where was the rear bumper done - and did you take out a second mortgage to pay for it ? Looks like a decent job. I'm planning on getting mine done this winter. Thanks ! :beer :TU:
