Pueblo I had a ton of fun on Sunday!!!!!! :TU: :3gears: My best run was a 14.46 @ 93. I went red in the Buick race, broke out in the members race, and then broke out again in the open race. Thats OK though, I just went out to have a blast and thats just what I had. Thanks to everyone, my dad Steve especially, Uncle Jim and (aunt) Mishi, Hillbilly Dave, Conilogues (for the ALT. belt!!!), Sue, Mike, Steve, Becky and the endless list of people who helped me out during the day. Dave, we're planning on making it out to the Atwood race in Oct. I'm not gonna let my dad go carless, so he'll probably be taking his blue 70. I'll take my 70. Anyway, thanks and thanks again for a really fun day, it was nice to see everyone again. Kevin
Thanks to all for participating in the 12th Annual Shoot Out. It was an extremely long day, which WILL NOT happen next year. Have already had several discussions on that, but there's lots of time to decide how to remedy 11.5 hours at the track. And the other "little problem" will not happen next year either. I understand what you guys said - but according to our flyer he was legal. Next year's flyer will have another "not allowed" added to the list. And I will make sure tech and the gate know. Had Michael or I been aware he was running more than TO's we would have politely asked him to leave - even if it meant a partial refund. A word of advice - speak up earlier in the day! It could have avoided some tempers, but I'm glad Jim took care of him and would like to think there was a great big grin on his face down the return road. Thanks Jim. For some, I'll see you at tomorrow's meeting. Dave - just don't know when we'll see you, but the Christmas dinner is December 18th. Plus Michael is now talking about going to Atwood instead of Vegas. Its a hell of a lot closer! He'll change his mind several times, as long as he makes a final decision in time to cancel the room and vacation days scheduled from work. Later guys.

There is info to a the small town motel there but I am warning ya, its only got like 15 rooms so you better get in early.
