Yes it is and there is so much in that spot because I had to stretch the strip to fit there and it kept pulling off... That was my only real trouble spot, otherwise it was not that bad and they sure were better than my dry rotted originals.

They are not perfect but they are better than what I had.

:error: I guess this is the way it is. What can't they make some that fit ?

I am so use to the aftermarket stuff not being perfect that I really thought these worked great:Dou: That area was the only real problem area I had when installing. Be prepared to hold it there until the adhesive drys or tape it down until it is dry.

I just tried to get that extra 3M adhesive off of my door :spank: It's not going to be easy :ball:

If you lay them in the sun for a few hours before installing they are easier to work with. a heat gun or hair dryer also helps

Th originals were latex skinned and much softer. Someone is making these for Camaros. Could Chevelle be far behind? I believe they are the same for our cars.....I find the Soft Seal to be anything but soft. Had to slam the doors for 2 years before they settled in. DL looks like your mounting holes are filled in.

I'm sure glad my wife bought me a NOS set for my birthday 16 years ago, at the suggestion of of our friend Tom Rix. I'm keeping them for the day we restore our car. Paul

Would a hair drier or a heat gun help soften them? Then shut the door to hold shape maybe??
