Congrats Dave, I think? Well, it was close to your reserve, it would have cost you $ to send back here. It really is a shame the car will just be flipped to someone who won't know what's right on it, and probably won't drive it. That said, it may very well have a better life than you! You have to go out in the snow and cold, pay taxes, etc.

My car made it to tv. Second to last car just before 10. Did not catch me driving up and they already had hood closed. Shows me walking by silver Vette right after. Funny.

I was suprised I got to see it. Wish it had met your reserve price, it was close. Seems like that was the trend of today, either didn't make to reserve or TBGO. But it did get featured. It is a beautiful car. Hope it eventually goes to someone who will appreciate it.

Dave was the TBGO just the way the crowd was today with the cars shown, or is there a lot of buying going on after the roll across the stage?

But mainly, Congratulations on the sale.

Thanks, there is a lot if selling going on after the bids and maybe less money flying around today. Yesterday money was really flying but maybe Mopars were dragging everything up? My friend thought more real buyers on Friday and more got the day off types just watching Saturday . I got close to my reserve anyway and they cut their take a little which basically was the difference in having to ship it home so I can't complain too much.

    I'm currently at B-J. Lots of GSXs. Also like a particular 1972 GS 455 with a 4-speed.

Well on my thread whats worth more I see that the GSX did 40k more than the clapped out Daytona . Great Dave congrats! I was praying your car did better than that MOPAR. I guess they were upset it didn't reach the estimate 125-150k :)

Are you saying I am old? I guess you are right. I would do it again. Just be realistic on your asking price and know your bottom dollar you will take. Also know they are going to pressure you if it does not reach the reserve. Be ready for that. Also if I did again I would sell on Friday. That is when most money was flying around.

I was there last week and took a really close look at that Gold Stage 1. It was a beauty! If I'd known it would go for $44K I'd have registered to bid on it. Wow! :puzzled:

The attention to detail wasn't there on that car. Quite a few missing parts, wrong parts, but the paint was nice
