I think the name "Turbo" is now used generically to mean any of several low restriction low tech fairly cheap mufflers that are somewhat louder than a standard muffler. The name Cherry Bomb is a Trade Name for a manufacturer:

The glass pack, which Cherry Bomb also helped originate, sounds sort of the same as a Turbo muffler on acceleration, but tends to be a little louder, and will 'pop' on deceleration.

i have had flowmasters and tired of that sound looking for something
different something louder then basic muff shop turbos but glasspack
might be a bit too loud.

Has anyone used the Chambered mufflers? I saw them in the OPGI catalog, and remember them being on the 69 COPO and ZR1 Camaros. As I recall, it was a wicked sound.

Don't go by the sound on the website. I don't think you'll like the Hushpower if you don't like the "poppy" glass pack sound that goes for the Bullet or any other small muffler. Dynomax Superturbos are the closest to the best "turbo" muffler out there and have a good deep sound. I ran my 350 with turn-downs off the super turbos and it sounded great. Especially for the price. The
40 seriers Delta 2-chamber Flowmaster have a nice metalic sound but a bit louder than superturbos. A larger case style muffler that has a straight thru design sound pretty good and a more deeper and less poppy than a small case bullet style muffler. Dynomax Race Magnums and Hooker Maximum Flow are both straight-thru flow mufflers that are a large case style.
