I hate to say it but: numbers matching? original carb/distributor/trans? Those 3 things seem to make a big difference in pricing a stage car. Looks like eng and trans are original, which helps. The rust really hurts.

Very nice. I'd put the "Super Sport" wheels back on. I the in the current market $35-40k would be reasonable for both buyer & seller. Orig. carb., dist., radiator, & fan shroud condition would play into that.

Edit: didn't see the above post

Been there done that. We have been going to GS Nationals together since the mid 80's.

From the owner. Let me know if anyone is interested. Then I can pass it on to him.
    Thanks Zach

Hey Zach. I read the comments and basically agree on the cars value. I was mid to low $40's. I think being numbers matching still puts it over the $40 mark. I haven't done anything to it cosmetically since I've owned it. The rust underneath the top was like it is now back in '82. The exterior trim has never been touched. John Osborne is the only person to work on the car and it runs like cars do that he has set up. It's a fun car as it is and everything is there to take it up a level if someone wants to. Thanks for posting this and please let me know if you hear of any interest. Thanks again

May i make a suggestion? from a buyers perspective. Put the stock parts back on it. Take it back to suvivor-ish from modified. A friend could help drop in the axle, wheels and manifolds in an after noon. A car transporter isn't going to haul a spare axle. I think it would sell for a lot more and expand the reach. Otherwise, really need a local buyer to accommodate all the extra loose parts. And take Good clear pictures of All the stampings, block diff, carb ect. It's a neat car with original components and nice options, good luck.

I'm usually big on bench seat/col. shift if buckets/console was avail. (e.g. ok w/it on my '71 GS Convertible) but I like it!
