    2/3/24 update

Hey Zach. I read the comments and basically agree on the cars value. I was mid to low $40's. I think being numbers matching still puts it over the $40 mark. I haven't done anything to it cosmetically since I've owned it. The rust underneath the top was like it is now back in '82. The exterior trim has never been touched. John Osborne is the only person to work on the car and it runs like cars do that he has set up. It's a fun car as it is and everything is there to take it up a level if someone wants to. Thanks for posting this and please let me know if you hear of any interest. Thanks again

Have a good friend that has decided to sell his 70 GS. I offered to help him out and get v8buick help. Any comments or suggestions appreciated on pricing.
    Thanks Zach

1970 GS Stage 1. Owned since 1982. Original mileage in the mid seventies. John Osborne rebuilt the original engine and transmission. Original rear axle and exhaust manifolds are in storage.Dealer I bought it from painted it. Harvest gold. Jambs and inside trunk lid still original. Bench seat with A/C that's intact but not functional.

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

Hmmm....looks like it's worth about $5,000. I'll take it ;).........Seriously that's a fine looking automobile. Gonna want to share pics of the interior and any more info about rust, working condition of everything besides the A/C, etc.

From the owner. Thanks for the suggestion.

I can send a photo of the interior tonight. It's clean. Original carpet and headliner are nice. Dash is nice. Wood grain is faded a little. Radio takes a minute to warm up. There's some rust under the vinyl top. That is still the original top. Everything else works. Blower defogger and map light on the mirror, etc. The trim was not removed when it was painted. Rust under the top at the rear window. Top is pulling up a little but the overall condition is nice. Most people think it's been replaced

Looks to be well optioned which helps (disk brakes, gauges/rallye clock, rear def., PW). Done it would be a beautiful combo. Can you post the rest of the report?

I am a big fan of earth tones so I really dig the colors. Very unique with the black interior and dark brown vinyl. I'd throw some steel wheels and dog dishes on her and hit the block.

Good looking car. Best of luck to your friend. I'm sure it will find a good home.
