Shari & Lloyd, I'm glad to hear things turned out well. Hope to see you guys at one of the upcoming events. Ramin
Shari & Lloyd, I come back into town and read this and am very happy to see that things are looking up. Good luck with the recovery Lloyd, you and Shari are in my thoughts and prayers. Darren
He's home and doing well! Loyd's been home since Monday, 3/29. He's still sore, and kinda spacey from pain pills - sort of like when Bruce had his surgery. Every day he's a little stronger, though - taking walks, stuff like that. No driving for about a week and a half, and racing may be iffey for April. But that's o.k. - at least he's home and doing well. Thanks to everyone for the good wishes and prayers - I know they helped! You guys are great! ShariB :TU:
Yea Loyd! Happy to hear you have your guy home. Tell him to keep up the good progress and to do his special "gas pedal" foot exercises when he can. Beth just said Shari and I can race while she and Loyd watch. Take Care And Have A Good Weekend :TU: :TU: D & B
Welcome home Loyd !!:TU: We are glad you home and starting the road to recovery . Do what the nice doctors say and do the rehab work as needed. I have been cheating with my leg amd now am having a few problems . Darnit , I'm rambling ..... ou: Everyone in the Chicago chapter is invited to our Buick party June 5th in Bristol , Wi. I still to this day can not get your web site to work for me ! 2 acres to park Buicks !:bglasses: Loyd enjoy the drugs :Brow: and get better . I know how the drugs can be a drag but put up with them and you'll be jamming in no time !:3gears: Miss ya two ! Take care , and we are still praying for ya !! p p :TU:
Right foot exercises Gosh all this attention is embarrassing, thanks for all the well wishes. It sure made a difference as I'm feeling a ton better each day. Bruce the painkillers were great, but unfortunately there comes a time when you have to wean yourself off them. I'm walking a minute longer each day, so can now go around the block easily without breaking a sweat. I'm doing that at least four times a day, so the neighbors are probably thinking I'm goofy. Rehab is still a week or so off. I will have to make sure they have the right foot and left foot coordination thing included, for bracket racing later this month. Good idea Dana and Beth. Am really looking forward to flogging on some Buick power. Will definitely promote Bruce & Shirl's bash on the Chapter web site. That will be here before you know it. BTW how far from the Renaissance Fair grounds do you live ?
