sold the '02 grand cherokee , hated to but a little over 100K and gettin rusty underneath . great ride but it was time and kinda in the mood to look for a pickup . dodge : prefer a half ton regular cab 8' box and 2WD . newer than '70 ( looks reasons ) and '87 or older ( EFI , computer , emissions reasons ) . other maybe considered but ---- ? minor dents , paint peel etc ok , minor rust not ok especially underneath . 318/360 ok , big block better . and would prefer original untouched or close . something real nice with no motor or whatever will be considered BUT that'll mean towing so price will be a factor . if i can drive it home that of course would be a big help . have relatives around charlotte , n.c. so have been checking that area on craigslist and then up #77 and #81 - that's my usual route so i'm used to that . other routes ok . these trucks seem to be out there for $2500-5000 or so and that is kinda my range i guess . chevy : i've been lookin those over also , similar conditions . but those seem to be a little rougher shape or maybe backyard mod'd a little more than i'm comfortable with for similar pricing . ford : nope . just not familiar with 'em . thats it . just kinda lookin for a little towing , low maintenance - stuff i can do , and NO rust problems . not even planning on driving it in the winter . maybe fixin' it up a little over a period of time .
My brother lives in the Anderson/Greenville SC area. He likes to show me stuff he finds from www.iwanna.com The zip code for Anderson is 29621. You could probably search a Charlotte or other NC zip code, also. Just another alternative to Craigslist.
ok thanks . will try and look that over . edit : looked it over - nothing now . will maybe check back later .

I have a 71 Dodge D100. We used it to tow our 69 Dart drag car. We sold the car so no longer need the truck. I bought from the original owners son. 383 big block, auto, A/C, hitch, trailer brake control, newer CD radio. Pretty original truck with faded paint but west coast body. Let me know if you have interest. Jim

I drove this around for about 5 years as a farm / utility truck. When I got the Riv I lost interest in it. Parked it where you see it and ain't touched it since I had just got some "Performance" parts for the 258 and never finished getting it put together.
technically that is a mopar so technically you have purchased performance parts for a mopar so ----- uh oh .
