I don't have a website just an e-mail but here is the link to one of the guitars that he just sold. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3700121420
hmmmm....I don't think he should be making those... http://www.fender.com/misc/winternamm2004/srv_tribute/index.html
Well Beth, I drove today...but only becuase I had to ship out an air cleaner to Scott White.. But I'll ride the Yamaha tomorrow regardless of tempature!
Well Fender is selling theirs at $10,000 a shot, and they reportedly paid Jimmie Vaughan a hefty sum to do it. I don't care, I want a SRV replica but I'm not paying someone ten Grand to do it. Besides he's been making them for a few years now, Could it be that Fender just wants to cash in on it. He knows Ray Hennig who sold Stevie the original guitar to begin with. Fender still left the Cheesy engraved pickguard from their SRV signature model on there which I think blows. This guy make sweet playing guitars and each one is a labor of love and a tribute to Stevie.
Chris, I'm not trying to be a wet blanket. I'm glad you love the guitar! What a wonderful wife you have. I'm just pointing out that, legally, the guy may get in trouble... If he does, yours is all the more rare. Rock on!
Awesome Chris! SRV is King. :TU: I'm very happy with my "cheesy engraved" SRV signature edition that Fender makes. p :moonu:  :beer
Notice I said Cheesy engraved Pickguard. THe rest of the sig series guitar is cool ...And you're right SRV is KING:TU:
Rick, Love the SG, nice li'l music corner you have there. Mine has been taken over by our 4 1/2 year olds Thomas the Tank Engine stuff ou: D.
LOL Chris. I know what you ment. Just razzing ya. p Dana... My "li'l music corner" is depressing. Before "marriage and child" I had a "jam room". All the walls and windows were covered in curtains and carpet padding to absorb the sound. (I live in town) Christmas lights all over the ceiling Black light in the corner, lava lamp on the shelf Drum set, 3 guitars (one bass), keyboard, a full PA system and about 5 mic's. LOTS of fun in that room for years! :Brow: It was the biggest room in the house too. My bedroom was a tiny room. Now the tiny room is our computer room and the biggest room is our bedroom. My kids room used to be the "dart room". Alas.... Now I have my "li'l music corner" in the pool table room. ou: Any jams we wanted to have for the last few years have been in my garage. (When I built the garage, I installed a whole row of GFCI outlets on their own circuit just for jamming) But now thats absolutely filled with "all things Buick". So no more jamming at my place. Now I get to cart my crap around and jam at my friends houses. p
Rick I know what ya mean, At one time my whole basement was nothing but amps and guitars and drum kits. My roomate and myself would sit down there from the moment I got home from work and play until midnight every night. Since I got remarried and added two more kids my supposed music room in the new house has been turned into an office for my wife and a storage place for my rechromed bumpers and other parts. My old singer is under house arrest for his early release from jail, my bass player got hit by a train (not making that one up) previous bass player before him committed suicide, and my ex roomate drummer has devoted himself to family life and work. Now I live in a new town where I don't know many people and haven't played for almost two years. :blast: Thank GOD for BUICKS:beer and my CD player
Wow. I'm speechless. Thats quite the story Chris. My little brother (15 years old) started playing guitar about a year ago, and started a band about maybe 9-10 months ago. They have their first gig tonight at a club in Dayton (3 hours away!) And to make things even more intersting.... their singer quit last night. ou: I guess they had a feeling he would be quiting soon, so they had already been practicing with a new singer for about 2 weeks. I just found out about all this about 15 minutes ago. I'm definately going tonight. I'm excited for him!. :TU:
I,ve got blister's on me fingahs! Too cool Rick! Yell "Freebird" for me at the show tonight. Does he know how to tip off the crew for groupie snagging yet? :Brow: Have Fun & Drive Careful D.
