Dear Gritty Kitty, Please if you can,come on done and join in the Buick fun. This is a casual every weekend hangout for "all car enthusisits", the general attitude is "I like cars"... Then again,I have been there with over 200 cars and besides the newer T-Types and GN's,My 70 GS was the only Buick from the "Muscle car" era there. The whole demographics of the area goin and comin is "IDEAL" for any and all types of agenda!!! I'm sure you know what I mean!! This is one of the Main reasons I go,early on a Sunday morning. I park and wander for a while, When I leave I try to follow or hook up with any of the brand X'ers leaving at that moment,the only way in or out is a long stretch of highway with "plenty of opportinities" be it from a roll or a dead stop. I take on all who want it, But it's usually the baddest "lookin car" in everyones minds,is the least one who wants to prove thier stuff. I'm sure there are a lot of faster and quicker cars there then mine,but then again,they have to "Baby them to get home" My car is a TRUE street car and I don't mind going up against anyone there,without worring about that!!! If I'm out in my car I am ready,no excuses,It's tuned,It's ready and so am I!!! If not I wouldn't be out there.That's just me,That's how I do it and I LOVE IT!!!! :TU: :TU: ,
I'm thinking about it. It's 100 miles but I have no worries about the car making it. It's just don't expect me to hammer it. :laugh: I just got the car and it's an untouched gem. Steve, Not to worry I have a good repore with all my neighbers,the sound of 5 Big Block Buicks at 8:00 am is MUSIC to my ears!!!! I live on a great block!!! All my neighbers realize we live within eachothers earshot, I have overlooked thier noise and partys and they do mine!!! SOOO--- Rev em up and lets her you comin!!! I was hoping one of these CT boys would want to hook up and ride down. If anybody wants to meet me out on 95 somewhere it would be great.
I figured I'd go out to the garage and check the car. When I opened the car door I got the dreaded antifreeze smell inside it. Blown heater core. I bypassed it so it'll run. But I'm gonna need a heatin' pad to warm up my butt tomorrow morning. :laugh: Anyone have one? :TU:
