Steve and Larry, If you are goin to Robert Moses on Sunday morning we can all meet at my house [ its on the way] at 8:30 and cruise there together and park together. i'll be there for the first time this year with my car and the fresh motor . it always seems that by the time its ready to drive the season is already over .lol :laugh:see you guys there ..mike
I'm curious to see if anyone is aware of a 68 GS 400 Convertible. It was maroon with a black interior when I owned it but was originally gold. Black interior with (at the time) a Hurst His/Hers shifter. Core support was fiberglassed. I owned it from 83-84. I sold it to someone either on the south shore in Nassau or somewhere in Suffolk. Greg...I remember a GS 400 on Higbie Lane in West Islip years ago. It was marroon with a red oxide primered L/S quater panel. There's another marron 68-69 GS in Sayville I spotted a few months ago sitting in a driveway. I havent investigated that one yet. Might be the same car. Im afraid if I go look at it, I'll weaken and offer him money. Then he might say "yes". Last thing I need is another GS laying around. So Ive been keeping my distance. Next time Im in that neighboorhood, I'll snap a pic from the street and post it. I have detailed files on all GS's on Long Island!! See you guys at Kenny's house tomorrow morning. Its going to be the 70's first cruise. I havent taken it any long distances yet. I still dont trust it. I guess this trip will be the acid test! Looking foreward to meeting Bill and Steve. Jason
