I have a few clips recently captured from old tapes of my car around 1993-1994 with a GSCA Hemi Killer. It had 241* and 241* duration @ .050", .517" and .517" lift with a 110 LS. It was running Tomlinson ported street/strip heads and Kenne-Bell forged pistons on good pump gas. It was pretty quiet with the 2.5" exhaust and idled pretty nice as you may be able to tell from the first clip. It went on to run 11.8s in that trim with 3.55 gears. Anyone ever see a video or have a video of a KB 118/107? Curious to see what mind is going to sound like.
*Thanks for the kind words Dave. -Kurt, back in the late 80's early 90's the KB 107 was a popular cam. They didnt call it the "window rattler" for nothing. I dont have any vids, but it was a great lumpy sounding cam. PS-I say 80's - 90's because thats when I was heavy into the Nats and really looking for cars with cool sounds.Im sure there is alot more history to the 107.
Crank this one up, you may even hear the birds start things off..... <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i625.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid625.photobucket.com/albums/tt336/cray1801/3-30Idle-1.flv">

....gotta love it when the front wheel does not touch back down until you let off the foot feed...:beers2:
Craigs R sounds the best. My car sounds like that but you can't hear it in the video. Anyway, enjoy!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycW32kBFAIQ Tom
Well fellas here's mine. Even not running right it sounds ok to me. 462. TA 288/92H cam(picked up from Jim Weise a couple weeks ago off this board) with headers, 3 inch pipes all the way out back and Walker Super Dynomaxes. No crossover whatsoever so what you hear out of each pipe is what that side of the motor is doing. Not a planned thing just had to cut the pipes behind the crossover when I went from the 350 to 455. Had other gremlins to fix so never thought about the exhaust. The weird sound right before it starts is wind. No I do not have rocket boosters on it.:Brow: Sorry for the Batman'esque camera angles. It looked straighter in the viewfinder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDlbWmVsr0s
my camera sucks, here's the video. The wiff's camera doesn't and she took some shots today also; see the photobucket. MO
Anyone have a clip for TA Performance 290-08 HL or 286-08HL? Thinking about using one or the other with a set of fully ported Iron heads and all the goodies to go along with it.
