Love them big blocks. I have a vid of my 70 convert on youtube but I dont have enough posts to post the link here. (Poston 118, headers, 3" 2-chamber Flowmasters). Thanks -kid coulson
I think just 1970 GS 455 ?? Its on like the 3rd or 4th page now. I wrote a caption about "awake after a 5 year hibernation". I finally fixed a small rocker arm/lifter/debree in the oil pan problem after 5 years of sitting in my garage. I kinda got out of the car scene for a while. Im still not into it like I was, but it is good to have it up and running again. Thanks! -kid
Here is mine, not as intimidating as most, but will run mid 11's at 4,000 + lbs and a stock suspension with only drag radials. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiW5O6gCBKQ John.
Thanks Mike. Yours sounds so much nastier than mine, even though we have similiar cams? What does yours idle at? Yes, that is the orignial #'s engine. (Must keep her safe.) Did you get some new wheels? Thought I saw some Pro Stars? John.:TU:
yes have some Weld Prostars on her now. idles about 850 rpm. i don't have an X or H pype so I think it gives a little more pop to it?? just finishing new fuel system upgrade= new gas tank Robbmc 1/2" sending unit, all new fuel line to RobbMc mechanical pump. hopefully fire it up in a week or 2.
This car is one of my favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx6WyMC-fz4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6yIwc4Vd74&feature=related I'd like to know more about what's in it
I really liked the way my car sounded "pre" x-pipe.....but all the big dogs said it was worth some torque so I made the change. it does make for a different tone.....
