Did you get your parts in order ? If anyone helps you out here they might as well get market pricing for there parts.

They have to do what you want. As for you getting 3 estimates that is a load of crap. You as the owner have the right to have your vehicle repaired by the shop of your choice. If they tell you that you must take it to a certain shop because there cheaper tell them No! That is $5,000 fine for them. They have to do what you tell them. You pay for the insurance not them.
I've been doing insurance work for 15 yrs and they do what the customer wants around here. Cheaper estimate could result to cutting corners.

    Food for thought.

    insurance cost

yes, I did infact talk with the insurance company and they said they would go with the shop of my choice...I was just assuming I needed some estimates..I would have made certain, that the lesser of the 3 would have been higher than the norm shop, so It would have been ok, but now that I know I cansend it to the shop of choice, I am in search of the finest muscle car restoration shop in the counrty at their expense....And to you people out there that have givin your opinions about the political views of mine, I did infact post my story before the election results....And As I figured, Bush was VICTORIOUS!!!And yes even if those 6 people that were going to get picked up by this BROAD, did infact get to vote, Kerry would have still LOST!

    THANKS!

Now to celebrate and start planning the restoration of IZZY3 paid for by None other than a lady with no sense! :Brow:

    65 G.s.

I have a 1965 Skylark G.S. complete nose. I live in Mexico, Maine and have been doing restorations and auto body repairs since 1973. I own a 65 G.S. that i have had since 1977. 15 years ago i bought a 65 g.s. from so. car. I used the body only on a resto. The nose os Rust-free and complete. It was an a/c car if it matters. I will sell it for $1500. If any interest let me know . You could ship your car to me and have it repaired. I am restoring a 1970 gto ram air 3 that should be done later in the winter. I am 11 hours from Carlisle ,Pa. if that helps. PH.# 207-364-8110. Gary
