:rant: Well Fellas, today was a bad day...I was going to put IZZY3(my 65 skylark gs all original and extremely straight)into the garage on this upcoming Sunday Night...Some woman going to pick up a bunch of Kerry supporters and take them to the polls, TOOK OUT THE FRONT OF MY GRAN SPORT!!! So I now am looking for a front drivers fender, inner fender, Front bumper, Core support and everything in between...I drove home, and her Saturn is now going to the JUNKYARD....Buick Steel vs Saturn Plastic...Buick Prevailed....She said it was an "old car anyway, so NO LOSS" I ABOUT LOST IT!!!!Well anyways, if anyone can help out or let me know if their is a decent parts car, or any info on where to get some parts, please let me know...If President Bush Wins by 6 votes, you'll now know WHY!!!THANKS! :TU:

The gs is still crunched....Damn!! I thought maybe I was just dreaming...Woke up and went outside, and sure enough, it was still smashed....It looks worse today then yesterday!!....Now that I have got to look at the underside and under the hood, more stuff is ruined than I thought...Well, I have a couple of estimate body shops set up....I think I will take it too the Most expensive 3 places that I can find...Ones that charge $100+/hour labor costs and work only on classics, and ones that will rack up the price to fix it as High as they Can...Maybe I'll get enough to restore the whole car pretty decent...I will have to keep my fingers crossed...I did infact have collector car insurance on it, but I don't want that on my record...I wonder how Hard it will be for her insurance to get me a claim without problems?...She has "ALLSTATE", so Probably easier to pull teeth..Who knows!!.....Well fellas, please help with parts on whereabouts, etc if you can...THANKS! :beer I voted for Bush, and of course he WON...So maybe it was meant to be TAKIN out the lady who was going to take the people to the place to vote for Kerry...Revenge is sometimes BITTERSWEET!!! :beer
i have everything you need. fenders, inner fenders, core support, hood, grill, headlight bezels, grill support, battery tray, radiator etc etc. sadly you are very far away and shipping would be horribly exspensive

I completely know what you mean...She should have been shot for a comment like that...Well, Glad it wasn't totalled....I bet hers was close though....I hope her damage is right under totalling it out...She deserves to be driving a new pieces of plastic...My frame was so strong in the front, it didn't even move...Everything else around it did though!!! Gotta love that convertible frame on the GS!!! THANK GOD FOR KEEPING THE FRAME GOOD!!! :grin:

People like her make me afraid of what's going to happen to my car when it's done. :rant: The hardship that we endoure while restoring these kinds of cars doesn't matter to ALOT of people. They just look at it as an OLD car therefore not worth much. SO, I plan to park it as far away form anybody when I go somewhere in my Buick. I already have one rule....no drinking alcohol of any kind when driving it. I also think I should all keep a camara in my car just in case.
People like that are so ignorant. Just remember, they are the people buying all the "jellybean" look alike cars, and to them an old car is just that.......an old car.......they wouldn't know a real car even if it totalled their new crap POS.
