    Topcat Got TORQUE?

You can get a tee with the male and two females and then get a compression fitting for the copper line that has a male end that fits in the side of the tee.
I'll see if i can round up the correct ones and send them to you.

    Peace WildBill

p.s. i will try and get a picture of TOPCAT's set-up and post it

Ken, if you had a pair of 1 inch spacers you could run the 7 inch Big Buick chrome wheels and mount up 275/60's that fit in the wheel well perfect.

The 7-inch wheels are on the late 70's and 80's big cars.. 71-76 are 6 inch.

So Yards, whatdaya think about the customer service at Bill Hirsch??? You just called as I told you & received the paint the next day. They have taken care of myself the same way "ALL" the time. I recall some years back when I ordered new carpet from that other "Vendor". I specifically stated I wanted a heel pad the same size or as close to the same size as my original. Yes, I do still have my original carpeting in the attic. When the carpet arrived the heel pad was 3-4 inches bigger all around. When I called I was told "what difference does it make, it will be under the mat"!!!!!! I then told them to send a call tag to come pick it up. They "didn't do that". I said I would call my credit card company & cancel payment & if they wanted the carpet to sit here or be thrown out that's fine with me, but I'M NOT PAYING ANYTHING FOR IT, INCLUDING THE SHIIPING TO ME!!!!!! Last time I did business with them or will refer them to anyone else. How could anyone stay in business with this kind of attitude????? If I did this in my shop I'd be out within a year.

Sorry, I forgot. Gettin' old ya know. I would not put on any spacers on our big, heavy cars without longer wheel studs. Sorry I disagree, but I have seen too many tragady's. I would also make sure that the centerline of the wheel is very close to the center line of the inner wheel bearing. That's the way the designers made it, this was for a reason. SAFETY!!!! If too much positive offset is placed on the outer wheel bearing this was just used as a support to keep the wheel in place not as support for the weight of the vehicle. The outer wheel bearing was never meant to support the weight of the car.

I need to "lengthen" the upper radiator hose. The lower fit, but like crap. It is rubbing pretty hard against the trans cooler line. I would only run it for 2 years before changing it again.

I'll get a piece of tubing tomorrow to extend the top hose. I also never got new hose clamps, so I'll get them tomorrow.

    The radiator is gorgeous!

This paint from Hirsh is AWESOME! It sprays just beautifully!

I should be driving it tomorrow.

On Sat we can change the rear rubber fuel line.

I'd like to see the 4-jet rebuilt and put back in to service. I am not able to use your dash pot with this AFB setup. You shouldn't need it, though.

Tom, i've been running spacers for 25 years on the rear of my 'Cats....even drag raced them.....NEVER a problem. If they are built correctly with the right materials and you are not running around with 800hp then they will work just fine.Any magazine you pick up has ads from companies that will custom make you spacers for any car.

Here's my first year Caviler 4dr 5spd grocery getter that had spacers to mount up these Citation X-11 wheels........68,000 miles before i sold it.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

Bill, I don't want to get into a pissin' match here. This is just my opinion & it's just that, "My Opinion". I have never been a fan of spacers, especially on heavy cars. Like I said I have seen the results of disasters. Most don't know squat about what they are doin', unlike you & I that have been doing this most of our lives. Again, please, no pissin' match as it's just my opinion.
