3422 views, and tomorrow is the big day, I HOPE! Got everything else done and a 3 day cure on the paint. "Hopefully", Pat and I can massage the thing into place when the entire seating areas are gonna be primed with construction adhesive. She afraid of heights to boot. That may just get us in the water Friday morning with the Cool City Classics happening Friday p.m. Its a fun run with a coupla 'tousand cars participating and the main street car show Saturday. I may get a "survivor" trophy again... The Just scraping by thred can then be put to bed LOL...

So on the way outa the yard tonight I saw some guy that caught a falcon on a fish hook... poor bird (wink). Then a neighbor had these put out for sale; 8 lug KONIG rims with Michelin 195/60 R 15 X-ICE skins for $350. They look nice... Just passing it on... ws

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Rims look like they have a dual 4 lug pattern. They holes are not equal distant from the center.

See what happens when ya dont pay attention??? Just passing it along.

Finally got Pat to give me a hand putting the aluminum job on. Plenty of glue (Locktite 3X construction adhesive) and the bastard slid right in to place. So we screwed 200+ times today including putting the windshield back together and install. Finished off at 1630 hrs sweatin' our lilly white buns off. It was a blistering 80 degrees and a 73* dew point. Home now and a 0900 launch tomorrow with only 75 gallons of fuel on board but that'll be enough for a spin...after a few more things. ws

Good to hear from ya Frank! Yup... 46 years of blissful ownership this year! Tomorrow at 0700 I'm gonna be there to install the Kahlenberg D-2's and a few other odds and ends; then a break after 6 weeks of no days off. WHEW!!! A big thanks to everyone else who reads this tripe. Tomorrow is the big car show. Have a pal in town for both! ws

MILWAUKEE??????? I thought you guys were coming across from Ludington to Manitowoc on the BADGER. The BADGER is a 1953 art deco styled car ferry with staterooms and a lounge and QUIET. That cross lake ferry runs at 50 mph with 10,000 HP roaring and everyone is strapped into seats like in a theater. At least take the BADGER home. Feel free to look us up if yer here! You and the wife can always stay on the new and improved yacht overnight as well. (!) ws

Well here it is one month to the day for an update... I know that Ive been wayyy off base talking boats on the Buick forum, but hey, its all about motive-vation LOL...

Thursday, my pal is coming up from Dwight Il. to keep house while Pat and I take a trip on the Roamer across the lake to Frankfort, Suttons Bay, Traverse City and beyond. Should be gone for about 10 days, and that will include a stop for a few days in Suttons Bay to grab the Catholic priest and go say a mass for the old man. He sank in a tugboat crash off the town in November of 1980. Never recovered, and what a legal cluster fork that became. Its just about closure now with a mass, a new Zippo lighter, and a pack of Salems'.

Everyone in the boat community has praised the job and wished us safe passage. So we'll leave after breakfast Friday morning and make the 75 mile trip in about 5 hours. Richie has keys to the BAD LAD so if anyone sees him say howdy!

Ya'll have a nice week. We're gonna burn some fuel! ws

Bill, you're one of the fellas who's personality comes out perfectly in your posts, and when I watch your videos you sound exactly how I expected you and Pat to sound haha. Take that as the compliment it's intended to be :)
