Too aggressive? That's the first time anyone has ever said that. My apologies if you took them like that. Maybe it's just my NY upbringing. I might tend to be curt in my replies sometimes but I'm usually I'm answering a post in the course of my busy day.

I think we now have an understanding, now
With my military and CIA background, I lived with the norm of aggression daily.
At 75, I live for calmness in my elder years. When I run into somebody that appears to disrespect my wife and tells me basically I'am doing it all wrong. I get feeling I don't like.

If I'am reading you all wrong, I'm big enough to apologize and so I apologize to you now.
    Regards Vet (Navy)

I think its great that you are wanting to do an additional modification or two for your wife. It's the thought that counts and I know wives appreciate that you're doing something from the heart for them and the fact you're making an attempt to include her in your passion for Buicks.

When we start going to car shows, i'am sure she will in interested in the classics
Thank you for your comments. Vet

Is that the stock seat that you're adding the adjustability to?

I wonder what it would take to fit bucket seats from a new(er) luxury vehicle so I could have cooled or at least ventilated seats.

Hey Eric, not all your pics came in when I read your post.
Wow, that's a good looking 69 convertible. I assume that it's silver? Maybe a silver metallic?

Well, I have say, you are a very creative person. I like your Eric GS convertible. The power seats look so comfortable. Good looking console too. Looks like you got it sitting on your kitchen island, lol. Vet

This is the 6 way mechanism from like an 88-90 Camaro/Firebird or like a Buick GN bucket that bolts right up to 69-72 Buick bucket seat. This picture is showing the mechanism upside down.

Is the same shop doing this work?

No, I have a good friend that just opened his restoration & performance shop.
This has been in discussions for sometime now. I was just waiting to get my car out of ProSpeed, put some miles on it before I take it to my friend's shop. Vet

    VET,

I am not trying to steal business from Tod, but I have a complete original (read that as unrestored) power window setup if you need it.

I bought this setup with the intention to add power windows to one of my cars, but I believe I have decided I am going to keep it all original.

I really appreciate the offer, but my shop buddy just started to ordering the power window parts.
Todd doesn't carry a complete set, so he had to order from another vendor.
Sorry I couldn't take you up on your offer.
I noticed that not very many guys on the forum try to add power windows to their cars.
It's a ton of work to do plus it's expensive. Thank you for the offer. Vet
