    Poppaluv I CALL WINNERS!!!

Billy, my man- I think WE'RE the ones playin' catch-up!!! :(

Excellent suggestion. I always thought it would be a good idea to wire a MOMENTARY (button that needs to be depressed) button up in a out of sight place- like tucked UNDER your hear liner. Flick your hidden switch (dimmer switch, cigar lighter, hidded button) and press the other and off you go.
Nothing will stop someone with a LOT of time and desire to take it, but anything helps.

I was looking into the "Snitch". Its hard wired ,about the size of a beeper and you can Google map track it LIVE!!!! $20(?) a month after $200 for the snitch, and you can challenge the cops to get them before you do. :Brow: But make it fare and give them the address....

This looked good to me too, BUT...that magnet in the key fob might be a little rough on your credit cards magnetic stripe IF you ever set your wallet near your keys. Maybe, maybe not.

Why not a regular car alarm, installed properly?
It will disable your ignition (if wired properly) if someone triggers it.
You can wire up the remote to operate your power door locks (if equipped), and if you have fuel injection (and an automatic trans), you can go remote start!

    Good luck,

I use a master shut off switch with a removal key. These were always required in my race cars. They are not so much for theft protection but keeping the power off from the battery to prevent potential fire. Most jackers won't have one of these keys. Mine in mounted in the floor and would go unnoticed. If the bad guy has time he could jump across it but he would have to get under the car to do it.
