What about Jane Armstrong and her super clean T-Type?

I would have to think the Postcard Bandit would have to be nominated into the gsca HOF for the hours of endless entertainment he provided as well as I would like to nominated Steveo "T-Rex" Roytos just because.

Well, there goes another toilet flushing to ruin a great post. It had to be a huge turd clogging up the throat to allow the poop to run over the lip and down the chin to end up on this thread.

I agree, Richard has done so much for our community and continues to still today. Many disagree with his philosophy, but his heart is to improve how our Buicks are viewed by the world.

I also feel Jim Rodgers mandates a spot on the list. Jim has help our cars in many ways. Accepting the hemi challenge in 2006 and giving it one heck of a shot with only days (not even weeks) after getting the car back from the resto shop.

If you have ever stopped by his trailer at an event and asked for help, you would have received it. Jim is an asset to the Buick community.

This is to add to the many other suggestion already put out in this thread.

Yes...No matter what anybody says one way or the other...Richard Lassiter, for me anyway... was responsible
for putting our Buicks on the map of American Musclecars. And they do get noticed at car shows
in a world of Chevys, Fords and Mopars. Thanks Richard for your efforts over the years.

    Thanks guys!

Just for the record, the Dinosaur and the Dinosoar are two different cars! I still have both.

I will second the Jim Rogers nomination, from my experience he imbodies the best of our people. Fast with Class. I also have no argument with any of the people/cars mentioned

Reviving this thread from the past.....Thank You JW !!!!
I've been watching some old home-made GS Nats videos (circa 1988-1995) and it had me thinking.....

There are some GREAT people listed in this thread that I've had the pleasure to meet and see almost every year since 1988 (my first GS Nationals).

I can only hope and pray that everyone is making it thru this pandemic safely !!!

Since most of us our quarantined to our homes, please feel free to update this thread.....it will certainly help pass the time. If you are new to the Buick community, please take a moment to look at some of these names as they are truly Buick pioneers.

    Take Care,

I don’t know how you could have a GSCA hall of fame without putting the founder at the top of the heap. For me it was always cool to see Richard in a magazine promoting the cars I loved. Never met the man but have a lot of admiration for all the work he has put into the club. Without Richard Lassiter would we be talking about the GSCA?

I would vote for my brother Jeff Pulera, the man who was solely responsible for saving 3 Buick GS cars from a certain death by finding them in varying states of disrepair IMG_3859.JPG IMG_3857.JPG IMG_3858.JPG IMG_3856.JPG and restoring them to a condition in which they should still be around today. He is currently saving a 4th old Skylark so if nothing else he should get a GSCA participation award ribbon! He turned the brown GS into the red one, the yellow one in the background into the blue one, and the green 68 was a rusty Wisconsin car he returned to show quality. To accomplish all of that before the age of 25, that's Hall of Fame worthy! Heck he even daily drove that yellow 4 door skylark in the photo behind the red one, just driving that pile year round in Wisconsin deserves a vote!
