Whew, 2AM & just got home. 10.5 hours to get to BG (697 miles home to Beech Bend). 11:15 to get home from Scottsville Rd. exit (same # of stops but ea. was a little longer I think).

Didn’t go to the track today but still got off to a much later start home than planned. Took awhile to get everything packed up plus had to do a minor repair to & install the new roof rack on the beater car (cross bats delivered to the Hotel). Rack was insurance as I knew I'd be loaded coming home & figured if I picked up othet stuff besides what was pre-arranged that I'd be in trouble. Didn't need it but also no room to put it anywhere. Surely it'll come in handy regardless.

Hung out last night w/ @knucklebusted at his house (well, in his garage) in BG. Only went over to check out his M-21 vs. M-23Z but stayed way longer than expected so got up later than I'd wanted.

What an incredible week. There were still people I'd intended to meet & didn't (@turbotimmer, @COMPTA, @BrunoD & others). Sorry, please don't take it personally).

Will post more event pics tomorrow. I'm beat.

 

I was one of the first timers, and WOW what a show. I was also glad to be able to put faces to names.
Met some of you Buick Brothers and wish I met more, but I was to busy running around rounding up parts for myself and others, to deliver to members on my way home.

This will be an annual event for me now.

Next year I’m bringing a car.
Thomas Mooney and I hung out most of the time and we loved the drags.
Watching those drags makes me want to learn more about the get and go part of the car instead of just making them pretty.

Anyone have some Wildcat pics?.... So far, i've only seen Briz's car in any of the photos posted, I know there had to be a decent turn out of 'Cats at the event.

Have never seen car lifts like this. Does anyone know the brand?
