I can tell you that the Crower level 4 does not like stock manifolds. Bigger was NOT better in this case.
I will post results in my posting about the "next step for my 350" soon.

I got some cheap autozone gauges yesterday (I know you get what you pay for but I'm on a budget) and I was looking at the top of the motor to see where to connect the temperature gauge. Looking at the motor from the front of the car I saw what I thought was a the temperature sending unit port but it has a 3 vacuum lines coming off it and a connector with a resistor on it. I looked in the chassis manual and determined it is the TCS - TVS solenoid. So obviously I don't hook up there. I noticed to the left of that is the sending unit for the temperature light. That brings up my next question. What does this thing do? It says it's a transmission control spark solenoid and has to do with emissions but also vacuum advance. If I have the vacuum advance hose plugged to the distributor I assume it has no affect on timing anymore, but what about kick down of the transmission? Please forgive me for the questions but as I stated before I am not familiar with engine tech and I am asking as I am reading the manual too.

    alec296 i need another buick

If you want you can run those vacuum lines direct and pull the tvs out. If your not driving much in colder weather you will be OK.

Thanks Alec. After the long winded post I Googled buick TCS bypass on my computer and it came up with a thread here (V8Buick) that I didn't get searching on my phone using tapatalk.
