How many years have you attended a GS Nationals? This year will be my 19th year. My first year attending,I took my 85 GN and by the following year, I had my '87 GN(which I still have today).

What is amazing is how the years add up and when I look at my '87 GN,it doesn't seem like it's 18 years old.

Joined the GSCA in 1985. Went to my first Nats in 1987. Went again in '88, '89, '90, '91, skipped a couple years, went in '94, then skipped several more years and went again in '99. Haven't had a Buick worthy of taking since 2000, so I've not been since then. However, I'm going this year, so this will be my 8th GSCA Nats.

Still remember going in '87 and seeing all those Grand Nationals. I think there were only 16 there that year. The next year there were around 200!

    Sure hope there's more GS's this year than GN's !! :3gears:

My first was in 1996, Loyd had gone in 1993. So we're not as experienced as some of you, but we sure do have fun!

Attended in 1982, had to skip 1983 do to a business commitment and then attended every year up to 1999. My Dad passed away around the time of the 2000 nats and I couldn't be there. Was there in 2001 with the GSX Prototype in the Corvette Museum. Haven't been able to return in 2002, 2003 or 2004 due to school issues and the kids, BUT WILL be there this year for the 25th!!! Bringing my oldest son, Drew, with me this year and he is the official designated driver. :beer :beer

This will be one of the last times the GSX Prototype will be out for awhile. I'm going to give her a rest and take the Black GSX out some. If you ever wanted to see the Prototype in person, this may be your last chance...

    Alan,

Said NOTHING about a trip down the 1/4...just that he was the "get-me-back-to-the-motel-in-one-piece" driver. Just may let my hair down a little this year...

In all reality, the Proto really wouldn't do that well in the 1/4. Hate to say it, but she's a trailer queen and has been for over 10 years. Can't afford to take a chance doing something stupid. My deductible's more than most people's homes are worth... :Dou:
