I just wanted to post this to find out how many people here are going to Englishtown for the annual Buick Performance Weekend. Hopefully the weather will be good to us and won't be as hot and humid as it was this past weekend. Keep your fingers crossed guys and have a safe trip.
My youngest boy has football. Girls have soccer. Waiting to hear what times. Hopefully first thing in AM and all conflict so I don't have to trapse all over LI and can get a decent start to get there on time. :Brow: I'm itching to go and meet the Buick folk since Larry and Ron dropped by on Marco's behalf. Tough getting away on weekends with four student athletes. When I do, it only makes them ticked more so cuz they didn't get to go! :grin: Want to take the newly acquired Riv on it's first road trip; and, what first timer would be more appropriate than a Buick event at Raceway Park, the scene of many a "crime" back in da days of my youth.

I will be there on Saturday...heading up with Dave Steele (DRS4554) and his brother. Hopefully I will even bring my car! Hey Moon...bring that mean looking vette...I will trade you even up!

When and Where Hey Guys, Is Englishtown this weekend? Sept 4th? If so when and wher is everyone meeting? If you guys don't mind I'd like to join you. I can understand if you already have a big group and I would be in the way. But it would be cool to meet up with fellow Buick fans! Plus the fact I would like to meet the people of this site anyway I won't have my car but still would like to come. How much is it? Don
Re: When and Where Don - You will ABSOLUTELY NOT be in the way. Just don't be afraid to 'mingle' with strangers, as that's how you will meet everyone. We're all pretty friendly once introductions are done :Brow: We usually hang around the NE Chapter tent, on the pit side, near the end of the stands (where the car show is). The gates open at 9, and many of the NE guys have a hotel near the area. Maybe they're meeting somewhere o No: I live about 1 hour north, so I'm leaving my house about 8:15. With 2 small kids at home, that time's probably very optimistic Just look for the tent, the car show row, and people talking (we usually are hawking around the cars or in the staging lanes). I would hope to get a few runs in before I park my GS, so I may be in the staging lanes for a while...
Like Marco said, just go to the far side of the track (the left lane side when viewed from the starting line) and at the end of the grandstands you'll see our contingent and carshow. MARCO! Glad you can make it!
