o No: How many of us are going to flint this summer ?Shirley and i will be there, car # 579 at the show. What ya driving or and showing ??:TU: :TU:
FLINT !! :Brow: Jim~ kool , we're at the Amerihost also!! Look forward to meeting ya and everyone else !:TU:
Can't Wait Our family will be there! Also at the Amerihost, bringing the 70 Estate Wagon with a 455. Would love to bring the Stage 1 but we will not all fit! Plan to caravan with the Minutemen Chapter of BCA originating in Boston http://www.minutemanbuick.org/ will give some details.
We'll be there, too. AmeriHost is where we'll be also. The Prototype will be featured at the Sloan Museum under a tent. Tow vehicle is '00 F*rd Excursion diesel - maroon. Look out - it's been "chipped" and the spouse WILL run over any ricer with it! 8000 lbs of turbo diesel will give you a slight advantage in most accidents. Kids are Drew (age 15), Alex (age 12) and Chelsea (age 9), oh and Maggie the wonder dog (5 year old Sheltie-AKA miniture collie). Oh, wife is Jodie (don't ask her age...ou: ) See you all there!!!
Brad, We will have to get Ron Frakes perfectly restored GSX next to yours. Ron just finished his last summer and had it at the Sloan show. As far as I know Ron was the main guy responsible for the GSX. He also has a buddy with an original GSX non restored.
Tow the stage 1? Hmmmmm, if I could figure out a cheap way to get my hands on a suitable trailer, I would almost consider towing the Stage 1 with the wagon to Flint! To follow Brad's lead; Kevin (14), Kody (10), Karlee (7 1/2), Kyle and Karen (each 39).
Man Kevin, got enough "K's" in your family?! The space the prototype will be is in a special "invitation only" spot under a tent that will feature some special Buick's from throughout it's history...it won't be in the "normal" class with the 70-72 GS's.
No Brad correct. In fact , more were made that year than any other. And I am really looking forward to seeing your car!
I plan on being there. Will probably come Friday for the racing and manybe stay overnight somewhere an hour away or so and then come back for the show on Saturday. May just go home as I'm ONLY 3 hours away. I'm pretty sure that Glen Stringfield will be trailering his 1970 Stage 1 4-speed GSX up there also. And Lon Bauer should be coming too, hopefully bringing one of his GS's.
OK, clue me in. From everything I've known and read, Centurions were only made from '71 to '73. What am I missing?
ou: ou: ou: ou: ou: ou: ou: ou: Should have known it had something to do with planes....man do I feel stupid now....Got me!!!
So how many of us will be wishing Michigan weren't halfway across the *&$%ing country?!?! I expect lots of pictures posted.
My brother and I are going. We need to make reservations and was wondering if there are any spaces available close by? Also, are there any group rates going on? Let me know if there's something available. Thanks. Rob
