I think it helped that it went through on a good day(friday or Saturday), I don't think it would have done that earlier in the week.
I do feel it is worth what it sold for though.

Economy/market is a little better than it was when we sold it 2 years ago.

tom this is fred i was the 3rd owner of your car. i put on about 600 miles in the car last year. the only reason i sold it was john glasgo put his 2 plus 2 up for sale. I was looking for one of those for a long time. where are these guys at when i am selling a car? a had car adv. in quite a few areas and no action.I wanted to sell at mecum put they only gave me a wed run. I knew the car would not do enough to meet my price so i sold it to a dealer in the area where I live. I knew he had weekend #s so the car would sell for a higher #everything I touch turns to gold. but its always for someone else after i sell.

    Hi Fred,
I'm the last person on the planet that gets to question why someone sells a car.
I can go to bed with a keeper today, and wake up and list it For Sale the following morning.
When it's time for them to go, it's time.:TU:

Hey guys...I'm the lucky owner of the T-37. I'm pretty sure that I paid more than I should have buying at Mecum, but I would have never found the car otherwise. I fell in love with the T-37 the moment I saw it. I was looking at the GTO's and there it was, so I guess I wanted it more than the other guy bidding. I will probably never buy another car at Mecum because I just spent all of my savings on the T-37...But I have no regrets. I've been out driving it too...this is not just going to sit in the garage, and don't expect to see it for sale anytime soon...I plan to keep her. Tom, my hat's off to you...what a great job bringing the T-37 back to life...and thanks for talking with me on the phone a few weeks ago. I'm still interested in getting photos from the restoration if you still have them. Thanks, Brian

I do the same thing...a twinge just hits me and I sell a car. Never look back.
The big Make a Wish car show here: I never have the same car there twice. I have a Cadillac now just because I have had all the Buicks I want...but when I find a 69 225 conv. I'll be back in the fold.
