Additionally, I worked with the late Paul Zazarine featuring the car in "Car Collector" magazine for the September 2005 issue.

Bamboo cream stage 1 knocked down at 57k. The green car should sell easily given what that car brought. The green car has a 70 BB trans.

The green car has all-original drive train, and original sheet metal.

The green stage 1 convert just bid to 87K but no sale.

Transmission is a 71 not a 77 Pontiac. PD is from a car with a 400 engine. No model listed but not a high performance transmission so shifts probably suck.

Dave - we debated whether it reads 71 or 77. Now I see a PD trans offered for 71. So, notwithstanding the horizontal line on the second character, I think that you are correct.

Jim, that’s funny. The second I saw it it screamed 71 to me. Probably from looking at my 71 BB tag so many times. Interesting my turbo 400 book says Pontiac 400 and no model info where there are many other 71 Pontiac listings that all give models. Almost all are listed. There are two that just say 400 Engines. I am guessing maybe a Lemans or Lemans wagon considering short shaft. ... actually Lemans has different numbers too. Probably wagon with 400.
