Not sure if it was previously owned by someone in Ohio but the ad says "100% original" and it clearly isn't.
Yes on the radiator plus it is the post 71 model year style filler neck. It has sport mirrors, the oil dipstick is painted, incorrect battery cables, etc.
Painted under hood? , Chinese brake booster, wrong engine emission decal and that goofy cooling system decal that people insist on using. Hardly an original car.
The engine matches the VIN but the trans is from a 77 Pontiac. There are many incorrect items on the car. At some point the front end was disassembled and the engine compartment and cowl was painted gloss black. The radiator set up is a complete mess. The top plate and shroud do not fit. Here is a sentence from the description is the auction: "This number matching 455 cubic inch Ram Air V8 is backed by a tough and stout Turbo 400 with Stage 1 pitch transmission.
Joe--a prospective buyer asked me to look for squawks and this is what I did. If it upsets you, do not open this thread.
I restored the green convertible in 2002/2003, so continue... It was a one-owner car until last year. And yes, contrary to popular knowledge, the VIN was stamped on the front. "I" took that picture.
