Here's a beauty I saw on eBay. I was speechless for a good 5 minutes when I first saw this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buic...5?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2a0c860859#v4-38
$20 dollars says the guy doesnt know what it is he just connected the cold air intake to. :laugh: Got to admit, I was speachless for a minute there as well.
LOL, yeah I couldn't believe it. I mean, he obviously knows SOMETHING to have the hydraulics installed but holy crap, how oblivious can u be hooking up a CAI to the heat riser.
:laugh:HAHAHA:laugh: That's what I said when I saw;

Please wait Image not available (EDIT: there was a Heineken 12 pack in the back seat!)
It's a well known fact that if you cool the exhaust on one side you get a 20 percent harder launch. They probably did a write up on that in ricer monthly or something. Figured it would work on a Buick also.
Naw, c'mon you guys! You know how that works! The heat from the exhaust manifold generates a heat source, which drives a convective flow. This flow pulls all the blow-by from the engine and SETS IT ON FIRE. What you don't see in these pictures is the additional exhaust pipe that is shaped like a rocket nozzle. It doesn't show in any of the photos, because it uses stealth technology. This nozzle makes it WAY faster than any other low rider on the road. Man, I worked up a sweat on that piece of fiction...that, or the fact that it's 78 freakin' degrees here in the house at 6:30 in the middle of December, here in Southern California. :Brow:
On another note, there's $$$$ to be made by dropping $1k on this car and reselling the pieces. That is one gorgeous interior, and the wheels alone will recoup your expenses, probably including towing/shipping. It's a shame I'm ALL the way across the country from it. Dig in! I'm diggin' that steering wheel. Anyone here buys it, keep me in mind. I already have the horn button.
im selling my 71 buick riviera lowrider because i got laid off and i need some cash fast.the drivers side window switches needs to be replace. other than that the cars is in pretty good shape. obiously the car is in need of a new paint job and it'll be good to go. new rims and most of the interior is new.the floor panels were replace and were welded aswell as bolted. the hydrolics work perfectly. the car is sold as is. there's also two spots on the right lower side of the car showing some rust.the windshied is craked,and i mistakenly threw the seatbelts in the trash when i was fixing the car so it's also gonna need them. the back seat has some stains. the car is also being sold locally and there is a 500 dollars non refundable deposit. YUUUUCK:shock:
The valve covers look nice :Smarty: I wonder what they did to the exhaust system if they thought that was the intake ou:
