...and 4 & 5. 1600 sq'ft garage, 10 minutes from downtown. That door you see walks into my basement den :TU:
A few years back, my wife and I decided we wanted to restore an old house. Our final two choices were between a beautiful 4000 sq. ft. Victorian on an acre with a 2 car garage, or this 2500 sq. ft. Craftsman bungalow on 5 acres...with a lot of "storage". I luckily drew the long straw. Here's my 80x120 "storage shed" and then of course my 32x72 garage. Gotta have some place to park 20 vehicles....Roadmaster is diligently standing guard.
Hey Johnno, I notice you were heaten' up some KRYLON paint in that garage. And do you sit on that PROPAINE tank while your warmin' up your hands on that gas heater. That garage sure looks like it's up to MASSCODE to me.......(have fun).......it's yours!!!!!!!!!! :TU: :TU: :TU:
I don't feel so bad! Finally had a chance to look at this thread, some really great places and some that look like mine! One day, I'll clear some of the mess off the GSX and take some pics of the front garage, nailheads on stands and furniture movers, 455 heads, 455 blocks etc, Original GN tires and wheels, wasted slicks, and truck from he** front spoiler and tonneau cover frame. Gas cans with wasted spouts, old rotors from a friend '99 Regal brake job, charcoal in a garbage bag cause the paper bag broke, my mig welder is missing from being used to fix a '96 Regal GS with a rusted oil pan, tractor, snowblower, shovels and the like abound! and there's couple of trannies, and a rear end 3.64 out of '70 GS for the GSX, and more left overs. In the 32x28 in the back, the '68 convt, '86 GN, my brother's first car a '73 GS 455 apart since '90, a '56 322 out of my parents 2 Door Century, the car I learned to drive on, a 350 bare block, the original wrong engine out of the '68 Convt, a couple more 455 blocks, including the SS on the stand, withe 107/499 cam, B4B and a deep oil pan just waiting to be 'pure stocked for the GSX' and a bunch of doors, trim, steering gears, and 3 NOS '70-72 quarters, in the attic, tires, NOS core support for the GSX, inner fenders for it, and bumpers, radiators etc. In between the GN and the '68 Convt, where the '86 Corvette used to live is a major pile of '73 GS Stage 1 parts, and in the basement, well, let's just say it's seperated by year, and engine parts and is not pretty, but I sort of know what is there and where it is, amazing! That's just enough for your imagination, wait till you see the pics, it's scary.
Wow Roberta, what is the dimensions of your garage? Or do you just own a Circus tent? My imagination is full.
I think the garage attached to the house is about 20x20, the back garage is 28x32, the basement is under the entire house, so is about 1400 Sq ft, and have way too much many of my cars and trucks outside! Especially the '56 Special and the '04 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Duramax, that wouldn't fit in any of the garages anyway! I don't think, but I don't have anyway to try, time to move, to a couple of acres with a couple of 40x60s and a room to sleep in! House with garages!
I have a 40x40 and this is how it USED to look on the "shop" side. More pictures later.... Peace WildBill
Wow, me likes!!! How many black tire marks from snap braking do you have out front? I'd stop for sure! :3gears:
