Ok, you got me thinking now---what do these look like. Are they different shape than the standard horns that came on the Rivs and the dueces?? I know they sound different, I remember my dad having them in his 225's when I was growing up.

They look like little mini trumpets that are mounted to the inner fender on the drivers side just behind/below the regular dual note horns.

    I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:beer

Sorta sounds similar to a diesel train blowing it's warning at a crossing and is just about as loud!
Got a set on my Riviera and they sure get everyone's attention.

That's true -- they do sound a lot like a train. It's almost fun when you get in a situation where the horns become necessary, just to hear that blast. I know Cadillacs had an optional horn too, but not two like Buick offered.

    Kevin, they came yesterday (Saturday)

And you were correct - the trumpet horn doesn't work. I've pulled it apart and checked to see if there was anything obviously wrong, but can't find anything. I have voltage going to it, and I almost welded my screwdriver to the horn body when I grounded it:laugh:

I wonder if I just stick it into some of Alan Faircloth's evapo-rust for a while, it'll clean it up enough to work...
