    My next quest...

I'm looking for the 4-note horn setup for a 71 Big Car. I know they exist, since the car that I found my trunk lip moulding had them. Man, that car was loaded!! I only wish I could've gotten back to that thing before she crushed it.

    So...

I NEEEEED these :bglasses: They sound soooo cool

Smartin, I just so happened to pick up a set out of a 71 Riviera , I believe the brackets are the same ( the horns are ) . Let me check to see if they work. Does $35.00 plus shipping sound reasonable to you? ( assuming they work ) Let me know. Kevin

Adam, Tested the horns, one works great, the other is silent ( the long trumpet shaped one ) I don't know much about these but I remember reading an article about rebuilding horns and it didn't seem too hard ( where I found it I dont remember ) Are you interested anyway ( reduced price of course ) or do want to wait to see if anyone else has a set? If you want to pass, no sweat. Kevin

    Horns

There was an article about fixing the horns on the ROA board. Sounds simple, just drill out the rivets that hold the horn halves together, then clean out the rust from the guts. You can either rivet the halves back together or use some small screws.

They are pretty loud when they're working well. Just keep them away from your ears when you test them!

Adam, if you get these working, could you record a before and after of the horns. I'm curious on what the 4-note sounds like.
