I polish my rims in less than 1/2 hr with a mini power ball an they look great great when done.
If these are cheap offshore wheels what quality would that chrome be?
At Least the aluminum can be polished, if the chrome blisters where does that leave you.

Even if I were looking at the American Racing or Cragars I'm still not sure I would buy chrome, because I live in central Indiana and I have heard a lot about the weather here destroying chrome in no time. That's one reason I would look into the gunmetal rims. But American Racing has aluminum Torq Thrusts so would even those need to be polished all the time? And what is the finish on the stock rallye wheels for the buicks?

I have been searching for these rims as well, but I'm looking for 17's either all polished, or chrome....and for a reasonable price. Can't find anything but 15's at Summit and Jegs. Here's another link to some

Something about these wheels make me think "modern update of the factory Ralley wheels". Machine down the center cap and on goes a Buick emblem. Done.

They are on the JDWheels site and Summit sells them also.

    WOW, Those look fantastic

Some wheels come with a clear coat that keeps the aluminum for oxidizing. Most do not, like Rob posted earlier, I have to polish the Centerlines on my Regal (not the one in the avatar) at least annually and they look better if more frequent.

The Buick Stock Ralley wheels were chrome plated. Keep the summer cars in the garage after the first salt is applied to our roads to April when the showers wash the salt off. Otherwise the chrome wheels take a beating that a lot of polishing and wax will only delay the inevitable.
