We Canucks get to hear Chilliwack rather frequently, thanks to some arcane Canadian law which mandates that 35% of all music be by Canadian musicians. Chilliwack put out some excellent work though.

Anyone remember Atlanta Rythm Section? Most remember "Imaginary Lover",but there are a couple of tunes they did that have their distinctive sound- "Homesick","Champagne Jam", and "I'm Not Gonna Let it Bother Me Tonight". Or ABBA with "I do,I do,I do,Ido", "Waterloo" and "SOS". I used to hear Bad Finger "Silver,Blue and Gold" all the time on the radio, but never hear it played anymore. THAT was a feel good tune.
Attention fellow Buickists....get yourself either Sirius or XM radio. I have Sirius in both my Jeeps and hear 80% of these songs there's a 50's,60's,70's,80's,90's channel plus Buzzsaw and classic rewind as well as others...
I was at both the Champagne Jams, it was overwhelming for a 17 year old kid that had never seen a band perform live before... Bert

So cool guys...sooooo cool. Like the title says "Forgotten cool songs". Songs that you re-discover and wonder why you have not listened to it in so long. Such a nice little surprise! Sometimes it means you, for the first time, discover it. That's even mo' betta. A listened to Dan Fogelberg's Captured Angel album once and heard "Aspen/These Days" on side 1. Wow, I was impressed. Here is this song that has been pressed into vinyl sitting in someones basement for 30 years, and I discover it in 2008. Nice. Robin Trower is another one. Never knew he existed until recently.
