Both the bride's and my pensions were funded with after-tax dollars, so unless we want to pay an income tax on money that we have already paid an income tax on, we are restricted as to where we live. Our options are Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Arizona, Florida and (I think), Tennessee. The choice was not difficult.

You are living the dream. That’s why I bought a cabin in northern Mn. As long as I keep working in Florida it’s just a place to visit but eventually I will let someone else run my business or sell it. Then it’s summers on the lake and winters on the ocean.
