The GSX known as GSXtasy lived 6 doors down from me, I saw it at a cruise in. It was beat up, no hood ,rear window caulked in, but a rust free California car. This was 6 or 7 years ago (not knowing the value) I offered him $9000 for it. He sold it for $14000 At the time I thought it was a lot of money. In 1982 I could have bought an LS-6 454 Chevelle for $3500 . I'm going to buy a Delorean and build a time machine...... Does Target sell Flux Capacitors ?
I had offered $17,000. for the car, with the engine decked and numbers gone it was a good offer for the time. When I called back it was sold. Pat
I saw another one here last summer, Saturn yellow, it is a real GSX, but the motor and trans. were changed years ago. it's now a 4 speed from a wrecked GSX. Still a great candidate for a restoration.
Mike, Is your reproduction window sticker an appropriate jacking point? Enquiring minds wish to know.
I think we offered $18,000 shortly before John bought it. The owner was very accomidating and even let me drop the tank. I was thinking John had to give $18,500, but I may be mistaken. It's amazing how things have increased so much since then. Jeff
...Look at some of the bid histories. Alot of cars in six days or less for the current top bidder. I'd stay away from it.
This smells of bidding fraud (which is illeagal in many states), I bet this car shows up unsold 3 months after this. Or it will be the old buyer backed out story, and I have to relist. I knew that a 40K turn around on this car is too good to be true. This guy is simply baiting to see if some sucker will go to 101K. Good luck finding a chump. Most people that would buy a GSX like this for 100K are very well educated (thanks to sites like this). I do not see a sucker available at this time. This guy does not know the community he is dealing with, crazy Buick freaks:rant: Who let this guy on our board anyways?
