I beleive that is the X that recently sold at the RM Auction in Ft. Lauderdale. The auction results indicate the sale price with commission was $59,400. It will be interesting to see what is bids up to on ebay and to learn what the reserve is.

I also do not see mention of the car being "numbers matching" for engine and transmission. IT may well be numbers matching, but I did not notice.

Looks good in the pics. I wish I had attended the auction as I was planning....:Dou:

I don't think I would use the front sway bar as a lifting point for
    the whole front end.

I hope that is not directed to me?

I am not "dogging" anyone selling a car. I actually would have been very interested in buying the car at the RM Auction. Why would you perceive my comments as "dogging" someone?

I still think the car can be bought at a reasonable price for the buyer and stil allow the seller to make a few bucks. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.... it's the American way!

I wondered when it would show up again. Great car. I sold it at B-J a couple of years ago. Someone needs to buy this car.

Only when they do stupid things like lifting the front end of a car by the sway bar.

Buicklover23 is our friend from Arkansas, signed in under a different name. I have banned him like other mods did with his other sign-on names. I also asked him not to return. I hope he takes my hint.

I guess the flipper is not so stupid after all. 40K profit for one transaction, no wonder we can't afford these cars anymore. Nice profit, and a smart investor but I am sure uncle sam will be happy to take his cut too :Brow:

Anyways the guy is smart we can not fault him for that, and if I could have done the same transaction I would do it in a second. Just jack the car from the right point, or put it on a lift for gods sake:grin:

I e-mailed the seller with some questions and he's avoiding answering them directly.
I already know the car well, (Mark & the guys did a fantastic job on it), but I wanted to see how honest he'd be.
He's either not real educated on Buicks, or not wanting to be honest in his dealings.

Oh well, since I'm not really going to bid, I guess it won't really matter to me personally.
