My cousin Rob and I have birthdays close together, so when we were little we had combined parties. I remember the year he got the Evil Kneivel Stunt Cycle and I got a stupid Barbie. After I finished crying and acting like a little brat, we took turns running her over. A year or 2 later we both got the crash-up derby zip cars. Man those were fun times. Beth, you coulda been my best friend. :beer

I remember the crash up derby zip cars!!!

They had panels that would fall off when they crashed into each other (or any background wall when you missed).

I got beat plenty of times with the hot wheels track. I used to hide them and beg my brother to like something that didn't hurt as bad! Of course he was younger than me so after I got whooped by the track, I'd beat the crap out of him just because it was his track.

How bout those Rockem and Sockem boxing things. I remember playing with that all the time and knocking my brothers robots head off.

I dont remember playing with a favorite toy, just the neighborhood boys :) Football, baseball, basketball....oh the memories <sigh>

    A can

I played with lots of toys, but the most fun we had was with a simple can. We had a game called "kick the can". One person was IT and they counted to 10 while everyone hid. The IT person would then hunt for the people hiding. If the IT person could put his foot on the can and tell your name and where you were hiding you had to go to jail near the can. If someone broke out of hiding it was a race to the can. If he kicked the can everyone went free. If the IT person got to the can first you went to jail with the others.

The game ended when everyone was in Jail. A coin toss determined the next IT person.

My parents spent a bunch of money on toys, they'd be disappointed to hear that an empty can was our favorite.
