How about that, different views about a movie! You can call me unpatriotic, if I disagree with the administration?. In fact, fear and hatred have fueled the "Neo-Cons" agenda of labeling "un-American" anyone that doesn't blindly follow their doctrine. Politics, Abortion, and religion, will always be touchy subjects. We all have our beliefs, and stuffing an American flag down someones throat, will NEVER force them to agree with your point of view, no mater how long or loud you yell .!!! :dou:

Impeach Clinton for getting a BJ, WTF. How the hell are there not people in the streets getting rid of the known criminal currently in office. Must be the large population of non thinkers in this country. Why bother voting when those who count the votes win. Wake up people, Bush is EVIL and will destroy our world not just this country. What were the findings of the 9/11 comission anyway?

So if people don't agree with your oppinion lock step they are automatically deemed "non thinkers". Interesting concept.

I am curious how Bush is going to destroy the world. Could you explain that one? Nuclear war? Or has the big bad GOP developed some sort of sattelite death ray?

There is nothing more EVIL then freeing 50 million people from oppressive dictators and eliminating much of the funding and harboring of terrorists. Bush should burn in hell for that one!!!

It's great that the left has already come up with a conspiracy theory of how Bush will have somehow rigged the election AGAIN if he happens to win. You people need to get over the 2000 election. It isn't the 1st time that a presidential election was close, and it won't be the last. Everyone that says that Bush was not elected legally has obviously never even read up on what actually happened in Florida and why the SCOTUSA had to get involved. But then again, why read up on the facts when one can just mindlessly parrot the the BS that all but the farthest on the left conspiracy theorists stopped doing about three years ago.

The finding of the 9/11 commision said that there was connections between Al Qeada and Saddam from the 90's to the present. Thats not inculding all the other terrorist organizations that he also helped and sponsered like Abu Nidal and Hamas Just like "Evil" George Bush said. Thanks for asking.

    nafta and Clinton ?

Hey Preztoyz, better check your facts on the Nafta deal. I posted this some time ago and dug it up for you and added a few facts in the mean time.

I believe that a free trade deal was signed with Australia in May of this year and a deal that the lower post refers to has been in the works throughout the Bush administration for some time that involves 34 other countries, mostly south and central American nations.

    Here is the other post.

For those of you who think Bill Clinton started nafta you better check your facts.

In June of 1990, President Salinas of Mexico and former President George Bush issued a joint statement in support of negotiation of a free trade agreement and, two months later, President Salinas formally proposed negotiations. In February of 1991, Canada officially joined the United States and Mexico. On December 17, 1992, the leaders of the three countries signed the agreement. For the most part, NAFTA was negotiated in secret and kept from the U.S. public until January 20, 1993. The proposed pact would gradually eliminate tariffs (import taxes) between the three nations and create the world's largest trade bloc.

Article 1, Section 8 of our Constitution mandates that duties (tariffs) be levied on imports as a means to support the costs of government. If ratified, NAFTA will eliminate that source of revenue and plunge Americans further into debt. According to Mr. Jack Hedrick, coordinator for the Tri-National Commission for Justice in the Maquiladoras, in just the first year under NAFTA, America will lose tariffs on an estimated $40,000,000,000 of Mexican imports - that's 40 billion! Senator Bob Dole says, however, that it's an immaterial amount - spoken like a true double-speak propagandist. Mr. Hedrick has been on a nation-wide speaking and debate campaign exposing the horrors of NAFTA and the even more complex and destructive General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). GATT goes beyond the confines of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico by including 30 countries. Most of the 30 are South American.

That is another problem with that movie. Allot of the facts have not come out till the 911 hearings. People assumed allot.

Like it was Russian intel that help us decide to go to war but we kept our word and did not tell anyone they gave us info.

    Oh yea....freedom of speech..That's why:

    Parcells can't say "Jap Play"
    LAPD can't say "The N-word"
Fuzzy Zoeler can't say "Fried Chicken and Watermellon"
Bush can't deliver a speech at all without his pronounciation being crucified.
    Clinton still can't say "Rowanda"

I'll tell you what I can say....Moore is a poser, a liar, a pig, a piece of crap, a comunist, a wanna-be activist, a trader, a scum bag..etc. Where was he when 1 million people, mostly women and children, were slaugtered in a six month period by Gorillas in Rowanda. Oh that's right, "ethnic cleansing" is ok as long as the press doesn't report it and our country doesn't get involved because the President has more imortant things on his pants....er I mean mind.

I'm sure he'd be happier if after 9-11 we went to AlQueda and asked them if we could all just get along, just sit down and discuss our differences, tell us why you wish we were all wiped off the face of the Earth, explain again how the children and babies on board those planes were guilty of sins against Alla...Explain once more why your women are covered head to toe and walk ten steps behind you. And are you sure that God told you to kill us? Oh, ok, just wanted to make sure.

Better Idea...let's make Moore Ambassador to Iraq and see how long it takes before they stick his fat head on a stick.

It's amazing how someone had that footage of the abuse in that prison for a month or so before it became public earlier this year.

If he was so concerned about it, why didn't he make the footage he had shot public to let the American people know that this was going on?

Oh right, he wanted to make a buck on it!! This guy is such a piece of crap with nothing more than the almighty dollar sign ruling his path through life.

Not really, most people that are going to see Moore's latest "shlockumentary" have already made up there minds. Not like it's really going to sway anyones oppinion, especially how most people understand it's all based on either lies, unproven accustaions or inuendo.

Lastly, the elections are in November. That movie will have been out of the theaters for probably 2 months by then. Thats alot of time for people to forget about the movie altogether.

If Moore was smart, he would have waited to release the movie nearer to the election to maximize any chance of swaying anyones oppinion, but then he wouldn't have "won" his "coveted"Canns film festival award.

if its not going to sway anyones opinion, then why is everyone freaking out about it? especially if people are just going to forget about it withen two months of the election anyway? and being how most people made up there minds already, why not have the bush camp stop campaigning all together and focus on the rebuilding of iraq. im sure his approval rate is through the roof already since things are going so well over there. this one little "shlockumentary" aka kick in the nutts, wont change peoples minds.

Don't forget the dvd release. Reserve your copy now! Just in time for the election! I agree that most folks know how they feel, and know how they will vote. This movie wont change much. Events that occur in the world between now, and the the election, may be a different story all together.

Frank, I couldn't agree more. People's feelings most certainly can change. I just think it's going to take more then a hatchet job propaganda movie to do it. :TU:

People have the right to think and say what they want in this country.
Would it have been right to do a strike into Germany in 1938 or so to save millions of people?
Would it have saved the world from a bigger war?
Should we have acted on war after the Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor?
The United States is a country that does not like to go to War.
But when we get attacked again and again we have to act at some point.
Our Embassy was taken and we did nothing
Our Embassies where blone up and we did nothing
Our War ship was attacked and we did nothing.
At what point do we react?
After WW2 the papers where saying that we where failing at winning the peace. Our allies where telling us we where doing things wrong.
Well I think that Germany and Japan got rebuilt well.
This is a new type of war. The enemy is not a country or countries it is a group of people that hide behind mask and women and children. They kill people for no other reason then to scare them.
There are many ways to fight this war.
Bush said right in the beginning that it was going to be a long war. He said that we would hear about some battles and some of it would be fought out of site.
Iraq is being fought in site for all to see. It is the U.S. and the World making a point. The U.S. and the World will not stand for countries to help Terrorist any longer.
How will it all turn out? Only the future will tell us. But I will tell you what I am glad that the fight is going on in Iraq and not here.

God Bless all those who are serving and have served our country.
God Bless America we need it

When you say "they" are you talking about the Iraqi's, or the RNC?
I'm thinking the latter would be up for the job.

Uhm, yea it is relevant. Considering his number one arguement is about the excesses of America, it's probably not the best idea to be the poster child of excess.

Moore is the typical far left liberal who preaches do as I say, not as I do. It's baffeling to me how so many people get duped into believing his propaganda. He plays off liberal guilt and people buy it hook line and sinker. So much for critical thinking huh? If he really cared about humanity over the almighty dollar, don't you think he would have brought out the prisoner abuse pics, that he said he had months before, alot earlier to help stop the "injustice" going on there?

Also, if MM cares so much about people as he claims, how come he has never mentioned anything about Rowanda? Or any of the other genocides that are taking place in Africa? Don't those people count?
