Yeah Christmas isn't the best time of year to sell a car but it's time. Righ now I plan on leaving it up for sale until it goes so there's time. Nobody has made me an offer yet.
Hello Rick...as you know, my biness partner and I were looking at buying 3 cars to restore this next year. I recently bought "ONE" that will not require a ton of work...and now, well...after long, thorough and over-expanded consideration of investment dollars, time, labor, parts, etc..plus the fact that with the market of todays musclecar pricing, those absolutely phenomal GOTTA-HAVE-IT investments are falling every day...and what WAS just a year ago, is NOT at all the same today. I have a "gut-feeling" it will prolly get a little worse before it all comes back around again...ou: SO, it is with regret (for you) that 'we', at this point, going to "hold-off" spending hard earned investment money on another project.:ball: My decision is NOT based on information/feedback from my buddy Dan, who came last week to review "in person" your car..he has said almost exactly as you described the car! :TU: Your car could be a very nice deal for someone like me...and O'yea, I would love to buy your car, however, the timing and the market is way off for me at this time. It is a financial decision that I am very aware our beloved hobby is in for some slap-in-the-face, rude awakenings. Unfortunately my biness partner and I are NOT exempt from this slump in the market..No, no, we are caught in the middle of it, just like everyone else. Should some "positive economic changes" take place in the next few months, I'll be the first to call you!!! :TU: ThanQ for all your time, all the pix, the time spent with my buddy Dan and all you've done for me..! You're the BEST! Good Luck Rick! :beers2: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
I've been wondering where you've been  Figures, mine's almost ready to hit the street and you're selling yours I wanted to get some pictures of the two of them side by side this spring!
I've decided to pull the car off the market for a while and finish it up. If all goes right I should be done by Summer and I may put it up for sale again. Thanks for looking.
Good idea Rick us 455 non-stage owners have to hold out and get the respect the cars deserve. I would buy it in a minute if I didn't have 2 or 3 projects already. A driver 4 speed yeah. Besides you might kick yourself later on.
KEEPITKEEPITKEEPIT!! that is a beautiful car and now I can stop losing sleep trying to figure out how to afford it! LOL
OOohhYeeaaah! me too! I was really trying to work out and dig into finding the $$ somehow. somewhere...just isn't gonna happen. in fact I'm selling one of my prized possessions just to pay some overdue bills...SO now it pleases me to know you're holding onto it. BTW Rick..should you decide to go back to the original 3 speed..I have a RARE, complete 3speed setup for that BB car...original 3 speed pattern console emblem, shifter (at Dave Kleiners place at the moment) linkages etc. NOT CHEAP however...I KNOW the 4 speed stuff is way more desirable..however, to keep it all original, the 3 speed stuff is really more rare. Good Luck my friend! :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Hey Rick, When you say you wan to finish it up, what are you planning on doing? What price do you think you will be asking when the time comes?
