1970 Buick GS 455. This car has been in my family since new. It is the original Fire Red but not the original paint. I had it painted a few years ago. It's spent the last 26 years garaged and only driven on occasion. The 89,500 miles is the true accurate mileage. This is a non-professional restoration. I did most of the work myself, all except the paint and body. The only rust I can find is minor in the core support area, I think it's only surface rust but I haven't tried to stick a screwdriver through it or anything. Other than that I can't find any and I've worked on the car for the last 26 years. When the car was striped for paint there was a small hole the size of a quarter in the drivers side fender under the rocker cover, that's all. Like I said the car has had about 20,000 miles put on it in the last 26 years and it's been in Colorado and Arizona that entire time. This car was an original 3 spd on the floor. This was a very low optioned car with only power steering and rally gauges as options. The car starts runs drives and stops just fine with no issues. The rear tires are 325/50-15 BFG Drag radials on new 15X10 reproduction wheels. The fronts are 245/60-15 BFG's on 15X7 Buick wheels. This car is not yet perfect but is a solid rust free GS 455. An original manual tranny car and if the numbers I read are correct it's 1 of 66 big block cars that were built in 1970 with a 3 spd. I have part of the original tank build sheet and the Sloan documents on the car. While I don't have every original part I do have most of them. The car has all of the original Sheet metal except for the read deck lid. It was bent up when someone tried to break into the trunk right before my uncle gave it to me. I do have the original as well and you can have it if you want it. Plus the black stage 2 hood is yours as well. Engine Original Block and Heads 455 Rebuilt in 1983 To pretty much stock specs. Stock crank just cleaned up. Crane Hyd Cam (not stock). Stage 1 springs. Stock Rods and pistons. KB Headers, Edelbrock Performer intake (stock goes with the car if you want it), Edelbrock 1910 850 CFM stock style Carb. The distributor has been modified to a mag trigger setup by Dave’s small body hei's and uses an MSD 6AL box. The car has the stock 3.42 gears in it but I had an auburn posi added. It is the stock differential. The 4spd Tranny is a Muncie M-22 out of a 70 Chevelle SS 454. The stock 3 spd was scrapped. New/NOS reconditioned Parts- Headliner, Front windshield New Carpet, NOS 70 GS Front Grill . Washer fluid jar . Front bumper re chromed. Posi rear end. Stock Rear Sway bar. New Ram Air foam seals. Rear Package tray. New Shift boot. Long Shifter Handle. Chrome Fire Extinguisher. New rear coil springs . Kenne-Bell Valve covers . Reproduction TA Performance Fan Shroud. MSD 6AL Ignition Box. MSD Super Conductor 8.5mm Plug Wires. MSD Performance Coil. Chrome MSD Coil mount. Reproduction overflow tank . TA Perf/Stainless Manifold Bolt Set. Chromed the Air Cleaner Support Housing. Airbags for the rear springs. Reproduction Window Sticker. GS455 Fender Emblems. 15X10 Buick Rally Wheels . BF Goodrich Drag Radials 325/50's Rear. BF Goodrich Radial TA's 245/60 Front. Skylark Hood Stage 2 Scoop. Edelbrock #1910 850 CFM. Edelbrock Performer Intake. Drive shaft safety loop. I have installed new springs in the rear but not the front. The shocks are new Monroe gas all the way around. I haven't done the front suspension yet but have most if not all the new parts to do so. Ball joints, bushings etc. They go with the car. While not a perfect car it's still a pretty nice car and it's a real GS 455 manual transmission car with no rust. Please Email me with any questions I'm happy to answer anything. I'd rather you ask a ton of questions and be happy with the car than not ask and get something you're not happy with. I cannot prove that the engine is the original as the block was decked when it was rebuilt. Asking $17,000 My number is 480-388-0208

Rick, Nice car, I liked it and bid on it last time it was on ebay. It was me who was the high bidder and it was me who kept emailing you so we could strike up a deal. I went as far as to buying a plane ticket to see the car. Good thing I have cousins in Scottdale, so the trip was not a total waste! I was trying to get in touch with you like crazy while I was there and you never answered any email or pms' through the v8 board. I was so excited and you completly pissed me off by not getting in touch with me!! Is the car really for sale this time or will you get the shakes again???

Rick! You're selling your car? Are you going to stay in the Buick family?

Really? This is all news to me. I am not a rude person and if I somehow truly caused you any grief I am very sorry. I answered all the questions through eBay and the only person I spoke with that really stated interest wanted me to send more pictures. The only problem was eBay would not let me respond since I already had once and I didn't have an email or phone for that person, so I couldn't. I have not been on the V8 board or the computer much over the last year, the issues that are causing me to have to sell the car have taken up all of my time. That said, if you really bought a plane ticket to another state to buy a car you didn't bid high enough to win without calling or getting confirmation that the person knew you were coming, I really don't know how to help you. Yes the car is for sale I didn't get the shakes you just didn't meet the reserve.

    Have a nice day

Rick..I believe I am the first on the list to reply RIGHT?!...As I have stated, I am researching all my factory 1970 455 3 speed parts ie: shifter, consolette with 3 speed emblem!, etc... I've had these things somewhere in my stash for many years, and I wish to put the car back to a 99% factory original...I am interested enuf to search out these parts THIS WEEK! AND...meanwhile, if you don't mind, I would like to see a good copy of the Sloan documentation report. ThanQ! :beers2: Wheelz, Tampa Bay

How far are you from Surprise? I'm coming down at the end of the month for a couple of weeks and if your car is still for sale then I would like to check it out.
