My 455 is painted black. I was originally planning on painting it Buick Red but I couldn't find a place that had it when it came time to paint the parts (closest I could get was Ford Red), so I decided to paint it black. After having it painted black I really liked the look, nice and subdued and gives it a real sleeper feel.

I painted mine Buick Red being that it is a frame off restored Stage 1. Of course, there is nothing better than to have an engine Buick Red!

I like gray, black, or cadillac/olds gold for the block, and bare aluminum if the heads are aluminum, or metal colored paint if the heads arent aluminum.... if the block is gold the obviously the heads need to be the same color, in my opinion ;)
