John, Sorry, but I can't help you with that code. If you can get a nice close up of the date code clock on the front cover, and maybe some shots of the codes on the intake, etc, I can use them in the article. Otherwise I can draw them in AutoCAD. Talk to you later. Duane
Guys, Does anyone have, or can take, a picture of the date "clock" that is often found on the bottom of intakes or on exhaust manifolds. (It looks like a series of 12 bumps surrounding a pointer.) I have started working on the article, and figured I would start with date codes found on drivetrain components first. I also need a few more good pictures, including the date codes found on distributors, vacuum trees, valve covers, rear axles, and inside air cleaners. All help is appreciated. Duane
I have this one in a block. Geez, I hate resizing picts. Takes me about 3 times before I get it to fit. :Brow:
Dan, Thanks, keep the pictures coming. I can give you my e-mail address so you don't need to re-size anything, Duane
That's about it for picts... Beside the strange numbers near all the cylinders on the deck hidden by the heads & gaskets. :Brow:
